MetPublications is a portal to The Met’s online publishing program, containing more than 1,500 books and other publications from the museum from the last fifty years. It includes descriptions for most titles as well as information on the author, publication reviews, and links to other similar titles.
The contents of many publications can be viewed online or downloaded in a PDF format. Readers can also search for works of art from The Met’s past collections. New titles are frequently added, expanding the online catalog.

1. Al-Andalus: The Art of Islamic Spain (1992)
Written by twenty-four scholars from around the world, this book is the most recent publication which highlights the art and architecture of al-Andalus which highlights the autonomous Islamic culture of Spain from 711-1492. This publication also includes a chapter about the Mosque of Cordoba.
2. Architectural and Ornament Drawings: Juvarra, Vanvitelli, the Bibiena Family, and Other Italian Draughtsmen (1975)

This catalog publishes various drawings from the Met's collection including drawings of stage sets, furniture, silver, architecture, and other forms of art.
3. Augustus Saint-Gaudens: Master Sculptor (1985)

This publication is a study of the life and works of Augustus Saint-Gaudens from his early years as an apprentice in France through his influential career throughout Europe and America. He was deeply inspired by the Beaux- Arts era in which he lived and was the sculptor who worked with Henry Hobson Richardson, Charles McKim, and Stanford White.
4. Building of the Vatican: The Papacy and Architecture (1982-1983)

5. Creating Central Park (2008)

This narrative tells the tale of the planning, politics, and aesthetics involved in the creation of Central Park and includes a series of beautifully detailed illustrations to accompany it.
6. French Architectural and Ornament Drawings of the Eighteenth Century (1991)

This catalog of drawings highlights the works of many French artists from the Age of Englightenment and includes architectural illustrations of projects such as designs for townhouse exteriors and interiors, structures for court and civic festivities, and an entry for the Prix de Rome competition.
7. Vincenzo de’ Rossi as Architect: A Newly Discovered Drawing and project for the Pantheon in Rome" (2015)

This recently published title is the 50th edition of a journal issued annually by the Met which publishes research on works in the Met's collection.
